Fabre Museum Visit in Montpellier (from 6h00 pm to 8h00 pm)

This museum is regarder as one of the first French public collections by its wealth. The characteristics of the new museum are actually a museum of the twenty-first century: an institution wide open to the public welcoming, friendly, grounded in the city and with of all new technologies.

Radically restructured, the Fabre Museum offers 9 200 m² to serve a contemporary vision of what a museum can be, namely a place of discovery, sharing, deepening knowledge, research, but above all a place of feeling facing an artistic heritage of exceptional diversity.
Since its creation in 1825, the Fabre Museum has been enriched by donations and gifts from collectors advised: Fabre, Valedau, Bruyas, Bonnet-Mel, Bazille, Cabanel, Canonge, and Pierre Soulages very recently.
This unusual way to build its collection for a museum, is the source of his identity so special in the French museum landscape.
Your Diner : Restaurant 'Les Bains' in Montpellier
After your guided visit of the Fabre Museum, you will discover the fantastic cuisine of the Restaurant Les Bains, closed to the Museum.

Located just behind the theatre of Montpellier, 'Les Bains' is one of the best table of the city centre. The restaurant is installed in the old baths showers of the city.
The old "baths of Montpellier" were founded in 1770 and then abandoned for over 40 years. Then they were renovated in 1998 by Guy Falco and have become a real must for trendy people.
The dinner courtyard possesses centenary palm trees, which allow you to enjoy your meal in a haven of peace surrounded by the old shower booths, which have been transformed into several dining rooms all connected by a glass and metal gallery.
