Section 5. Statement of support

This section does not apply to senior established researchers (see Section 1 of the on-line application form).

All other applicants should provide the contact details of a referee. This should be a person who has direct knowledge of you and your work, and he/she should not be your prospective host. Typically, this will be your research group leader. We will contact this person in due course and ask him/her to provide a supporting statement on a standard form. Do not forget to inform your referee that we will be contacting them and asking for this information.
